Bard College is looking to hire a part-time employee who will perform all tasks related to the Audio Video department at Bard College. Works extremely close with Director of AV Services. Must be relaxed and very customer friendly. Required to be able to set up and operate small-scaled audio and video systems for presentations and streaming as well as understanding of media classrooms. Must be able to stream video and embedded audio for small scaled events.

Primary Responsibilities

-Streaming of events with up to three video inputs from a laptop based streaming program
-Basic set up of projectors and sound systems (some light engineering)
-Basic set up of recording events both with a single video camera and audio recorder.
-Basic maintenance and repair (within reason) of audio video equipment.
-Delivery of AV equipment across campus, some light lifting involved.
-Must work dates apply for high volume events such as commencement, open house etc.

Experience / Skills


Qualifications

-2-4 years experience with audio/video in the past 5 years.
-Mac and PC literate.
-Good phone skills.
-Organized.
