About the Team: Wellmark’s Brand Marketing team is the company’s in-house creative agency, the team within the company that works to bring the brand to life. It’s a team of strategic storytellers, who put to work their broad range of creative capabilities (from video to design, writing, events and more) to help sell Wellmark’s products and services and programs.

About the Role: The Motion Graphics Designer concepts and executes videos and animated graphics for Wellmark’s digital media platforms. This individual concepts and create original video content, including 2D animations, titles, and motion graphics. They’ll collaborate with other members to the team to create engaging content, including capturing and editing footage, and supporting pre- and post-production video work as needed.

Experience / Skills

Minimum Qualifications Required (all must be met to be considered)

-Bachelor’s degree or direct and applicable work experience.
3+ years of experience:
-In producing motion graphics, animations and videos.
-In-depth knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop. -Competency in Premiere Pro and a basic understanding of a diverse range of motion design software, techniques and approaches.
-Demonstrated video editing experience, such as working with video processing, editing and graphics, and/or developing video content for websites or broadcast channels.
-Proficiency with visual storytelling, including editorial, story flow and aesthetic design. Ability to bring complex topics to life with dynamic and engaging visuals.
-Capable of learning about new topics, products and services quickly, exhibiting active listening skills.
-Effective planning, time management, prioritization, and organization skills. Flexible and adaptable with changing priorities.
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
-Ability to give and take feedback in a constructive manner, and to foster cooperation and collaboration across teams.
-Ability to travel (10-20%) as needed.
-Ability to lift/carry equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
