Shoot. Edit. Produce. And much more. Creativity is a must, and you’ll be creatively challenged on a day-to-day basis to visually tell Beck’s story across multiple platforms, using both photography and videography. From shorter, educational spots to longer, emotionally-fueled customer stories, there are no limits to what you could be directing and producing to help inform, engage and celebrate the agriculture industry and all those involved. Or where you might be shooting – a farm in the Midwest or a research lab and greenhouse. -Shoot, edit and produce video and/or motion graphics for internal and promotional use.
-Development of video rich media for various purposes including: digital signage, company website, web ads, mobile devices, television, presentations, social media and promotional videos.
-Collaborate with other multimedia specialists on various marketing projects
-Operate and supervise the operation of video/still cameras and recorders, sound recorders, lighting and other film equipment
-Manage and maintain all video, photography, sound, and lighting equipment
-Develop animation or motion graphics for videos and presentations
-Shoot and edit still photography
-Support outside sales and dealers with technology, video and photography related questions/requests
-Perform other related duties as may be required by the Creative Lead and Marketing Operations Lead.
Experience / Skills
1. Education and training:
-Bachelor of Arts Degree in Videography, Digital Film, Video -Communications, Video Production, Media Arts, or other video related degree
-Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.
-Possess a strong ability and willingness to work within a team.
-Willing and able to work on video projects on location (periodic travel will be required)
-Versatile in all aspects of video collection, editing and production
-Be driven to produce high quality and interesting promotional videos
-Capable of quickly grasping the desired outcome of a project and completing tasks in an efficient manner
3. Technical knowledge:
-Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier
-Advanced knowledge of various video and still cameras.
-Experience with HTML5 and video specifications in browsers
-Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite Applications
-Working Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java Script is a plus
-Extensive working knowledge of video/sound editing software and techniques
-Ability to compress video into proper formats and codecs
-Ability to edit and produce multi-camera production
-Working knowledge of proper lighting techniques and equipment
-At least two years of on the job video experience is required
