The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is looking for a candidate that will lead the initiative for the Florida Gators in the day-to-day SEC network operations at the University of Florida Athletic Association, Inc. with a creative and innovative approach. The position’s primary responsibilities include producing and directing live broadcasts for platforms of the SEC Network while crewing and organizing broadcasts and serving as a liaison between the UAA, the SEC Network and ESPN. This position will close on June 19, 2019.

Interviews may be conducted prior to the closing date, but no offer of employment will be extended until after the position closes. Experience / Skills

Bachelor’s Degree with major coursework in broadcast, journalism, production, communications or related field and three years of production and broadcast experience are required. Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge or experience in collegiate or professional sports. Must be a flexible organized self-starter, an effective problem solver, decisive and have the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team. Managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively is essential. Must be a strong communicator both verbally and in writing, which includes the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience and intense personalities. Strong listening skills and a willingness to learn are critical. The capacity to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds is essential. The ability to work a non-standard work schedule that will include evenings, weekends, holidays and overnight travel is mandatory.
