Skystorm Productions, an Orlando Florida Production Company, is looking for a fulltime broadcast engineer to manage and operate its mobile production unit.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Responsible for pre-production, setup, and operation of remote shoots
• Organize, plan, and develop workflows
• Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all onboard equipment
• Track and manage equipment inventory
• Transportation of the mobile unit to and from each location

HAVE THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING:

• Live Sports, Broadcast and Corporate Events
• Live Uplinks and Live Streaming
• Video camera shading
• Video and Audio signal flow
• IP Networking
• Camera and lensing buildup
• Live Graphics (Xpression knowledge a plus)
• Intercom integration and programming both 4 wire and 2 wire

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Must have at least 2-3 years Broadcast Engineering experience with live events and sports
• Key understanding of technical problem solving
• Ability to supervise crews
• Strong people skills and a team player

The ideal candidate must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure, and be solution-oriented. Strong communication skills and positive client interaction are key components of this role.

TRAVEL/WORK HOURS:

This position is based in Lake Mary, Florida and most travel will be to events located in and around the Central Florida area, with some travel being out of state. The position requires flexibility due to being an event-driven business. Occasionally required to work extended hours, nights, and some weekends.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee is frequently required to lift heavy objects while loading equipment on and off of the truck.
