NET, Nebraska’s PBS and NPR stations is seeking an associate videographer/editor who will be responsible for shooting single camera video productions, editing, and operating studio and remote television cameras. Position will perform simpler styles of single camera productions without direction and shoot more complex single camera productions with direct supervision until skill levels are sufficient to advance to position of videographer/editor. Primary responsibilities are Broadcast based productions, but there may be an opportunity to work on 360 video productions also.

Experience / Skills

Associate’s degree in broadcasting or a related field plus one (1) year experience relevant experience, including editing experience is required. A working knowledge of a cross-section of production tools including television cameras, computer graphics, editing systems, lighting and audio equipment.
Knowledge of a multiple video formats and range of production techniques from very simple to moderately complex. Basic computer skills and editing skill. Ability to position a camera and compose and shoot technically and aesthetically pleasing pictures.
