Conceptualization, production and editing of major network launches, campaigns and episodic promotions designed to grow network ratings and enhance and grow the network brand through innovative and original creative. Ideal fit would be an idea-generating creative editor, who is comfortable leading campaigns in a collaborative manner, with a desire to produce cutting edge content.

Job Responsibilities:

-Generate all aspects of video creative required for large network campaigns and branded blocks, from concept pitch to final delivery.
-Lead the strategy and development of multiplatform promotional campaigns with assistance from upper creative management.
-Edit major pieces of campaign creative – trailers, sizzle reels, image spots, and other assets that require a high level of editorial skill.
-Provide creative direction and mentoring to junior staff and freelance Editor/Producers while partnering with the Creative Director.
-Develop and edit content across all platforms, from on-air promos, to sales reels, to campaign-complimentary videos intended for digital and social distribution (Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, etc).
-Produce and direct live action shoots for major campaigns and presentations.
-Provide creative direction to graphics team and companies.
-Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, Social and PR teams to ensure campaigns are unified and complimentary.
-On occasion, the position will require facilitating the creative feedback and approval processes of outside production companies and freelance producers.

Experience / Skills


Qualifications:

-Minimum 6 to 8 years promo production experience in entertainment, broadcast or cable television with a minimum of 4 to 5 years experience writing, producing and editing promos for television.
-Extremely high competency in AVID Media Composer
-Strong familiarity with Protools, Photoshop, After Effects, AVID Interplay, and the production workflows associated with them.
-College Degree Preferred
-Previous experience as lead Producer/Editor on network launch campaigns preferred.
-Must have the ability and desire to manage and mentor junior staff in promotion and branding.
