The University of Mississippi is seeking a producer/director II who can help guide our video strategy and capture the Ole Miss experience. The producer/director II is responsible for creating video content that conveys the value and importance of the university's work to various stakeholders. Through creative video storytelling, we hope to inspire the investment of time, resources, ideas, advocacy, influence, and more from all University of Mississippi audiences. We're seeking a candidate who will oversee the production of high-quality video projects within designated deadlines and budgets spanning multiple platforms. The preferred candidate will serve as a team leader by providing guidance and direction for a team of video professionals in addition to creating documentary projects, scheduling productions, and determining and identifying resources. Experience/Skills

Bachelor's degree in Communication, Broadcasting, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university and four (4) years of experience related to the above described duties. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of current video software recognized as industry standards such as all Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc. Knowledge of lighting techniques and audio techniques as well as positioning are required as is a strong working knowledge of video equipment. The candidate should have excellent time management skills as well as the ability to manage multiple projects with constant deadlines. A professional portfolio that represents a knowledge and expertise of high-quality video production work is required.
