What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?

The primary need for this role is to provide day to day organization and technical oversight of the global events team. (Physical space, technology and People Management) You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the daily technical execution of our increasing number of internal events and meetings. Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

1. Drive the successful completion and integration of the new events portal & global implementation 2. Manage the successful launch of the VR streaming and on-demand service 3. Drive the continued growth of new skillsets within the team 4. Become entirely up to speed on internal processes, procedures, and policies within 90 days.

What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

We are continually looking to improve our technical event experience. Over the next year, we are planning to add several capabilities to our events service that includes virtual reality, live streaming, and broadcasting enhancement, the introduction of mixed and augmented reality experiences, and many more. Maintaining Event space technology and equipment Management of the event technicians Researching new event technologies & ways to enhance our event experiences Managing event escalations and managing event escalations and technical challenges to resolution

Experience / Skills


-BS/BA preferred
-Strong customer service skills
-Possess excellent written and verbal social skills
-Several years of experience in live production environment
-5 – 8 years of experience in a corporate audiovisual support role
-Have a Firm understanding of standard IT protocols (H.323, SIP, RTMP, etc.)
-Understanding of basic networking concepts
-Comprehensive knowledge of audiovisual production equipment (Audio mixers, lighting/staging, HD/SD/UHD mixed format switchers, etc)
-Ability to demonstrate proven understanding of complex audiovisual configurations
-Have experience with standard desktop conferencing applications (i.e., Skype for Business, WebEx, Zoom, etc.)
-Have extensive experience with HD streaming, and live delivery platforms
-Must have ability to multi-task, and make decisions quickly
-Must have an understanding of standard functional IT disciplines (i.e., Telecom, Video Conferencing, Messaging, Server operations, etc.)
-Ability to travel 20%
-Experience with the following platforms/software:
-Office 365
-Windows 10 and Mac OS
-Crestron Fusion
-Linux experience a plus
-Adobe Premiere and Illustrator
-VLC, QuickTime
