The Challenge

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager for Professional Video and Audio to ensure we solidify Premiere Pro's leading position in the market and to execute on a growth strategy for 2020 - 2022.

This role will be responsible for setting development priorities to capture retention opportunities for existing customer segments and enabling growth strategies for new target audiences. Enabling Creativity for All is a core opportunity that you'll need to capitalize on by working closely with our world-class marketing, UX and data science teams.

You'll be responsible for working closely with other flagship products teams on shared initiatives, incl. After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.

You'll also be the lead for our Social PM initiative for Adobe DVA, making sure we engage with our user base on platforms such as Facebook and Twitter in a productive way and translate customer empathy into action.

Finally, there're big stages waiting for you: you'll represent Adobe at major events such as Sundance, NAB, Vidcon and IBC.

What you'll do:

-Define the product strategy and vision for Premiere Pro by using customer and market analysis and your well informed instincts on what could create disruption
-Lead the conversation with cross-functional teams, e.g. the user experience design planning and delivery.
-Be the customer advocate every step along the way, help the entire product team to see what makes the difference between just another feature and a customer delight.
-Work closely with engineering leadership to make sure we meet and exceed our customers expectation

Experience / Skills

What is needed for success

-8+ years in Product Management
-Great interpersonal communication.
-Phenomenal presentation skills. You'll be sharing the vision, the strategy and the roadmap in front of large internal and external audiences.
-Passion for video creation and understanding of the media creation landscape
-Experience with AB testing and data driven product iteration
-Skills in politely saying No to everything that isn't strictly required to meet our long term goals
-Experience with driving cross-functional conversations to achieve a common goal at fast pacing
-Proven track record of releasing entire workflows and features into production
