Post Production Supervisor
Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
The post production supervisor position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the post production process. Responsibilities include ingesting footage into asset management systems, voice tracking talent, coordinating satellite feeds, and delivering cut stories to the control room for show broadcast. Post production supervisor oversees editors and edit schedule, and the final delivery of the show. Candidate must be familiar with Inews, Eveolphin, and Imagine programs. He/She must also be familiar with different camera formats, codex’s and file transfers systems. The candidate must be organized, a good communicator, and a leader.

Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
50% - Ingesting footage into asset management system. Ensuring transfer of cut stories to control room and coordinate final delivery of the show.
20% - Tracking talent and ensuring delivery of tracks to editor.
20% - Working with editors to keep edit schedule up to date.
10% - Coordinating incoming and outgoing satellite feeds.
Experience / Skills
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
High School Diploma Required. Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications or a related field, or equivalent training and/or experience preferred.
-5 years experience as a broadcast technician, specializing in post production at a television station or a related field preferred.
