Saint Francis University, a Division I member of the Northeast Conference (21 sports), the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Associations (Men’s Volleyball), and the Collegiate Water Polo Association (Women’s Water Polo) invites applications for the full time position of Director of Athletics Communications. The Director of Athletics Communication is responsible to the Senior Associate Athletic Director of Marketing, Promotions & Athletic Communications for publicizing the 23 sport Division I intercollegiate athletic programs and Spirit Groups at Saint Francis University and all aspects of the University’s athletic programs.
Must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Francis University, the NEC, and the NCAA.
Experience / Skills
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Ability to multi-task various assignments and work under deadline pressure. Excellent computer, organization, and communication skills are necessary. At least four years of experience in sports information/athletics communications professional level required. Knowledge of and experience working with social media applications, desktop publishing (InDesign), graphics software (Photoshop, Illustrator), video editing (Premier, IMovie), StatCrew statistical software, and website (Sidearm Sports).
