Photosound of Orlando, Inc. is seeking a part-time Audio Visual Technician. The hired candidate will be responsible assisting in the maintenance, delivery, setup, operation and strike of audio visual equipment.

The hired candidate will be working at our office and warehouse in Winter Park, FL as well as on site at customer and venue locations on a part-time, as needed basis.

Due to the industry slow-down caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have recently been operating on minimal staff. As events begin to pick up again over the next several months, we anticipate that we will need to hire an additional full-time technician. Our full-time opportunities are typically offered to our part-time staff prior to seeking external candidates.

Pay rate listed is for hourly rate during business hours, M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; additional tech time available for after-hours labor.

Experience / Skills

•Positive attitude that is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
•Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
•Ability to maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
•High school diploma or GED required, advanced coursework in show production or AV systems preferred.
•Basic knowledge of audio visual systems (projector setup, audio system setup, etc.)
•Acceptable driving history.
•Ability to lift 50 lbs.
