Cinematic is currently seeking freelance Event Producers to supervise and coordinate all aspects of events from concept to design to execution. The primary responsibilities are: developing ideas, sourcing vendors, overseeing event operations, managing project timelines, directing staff, and coordinating technical and production teams. Manage project budgets to ensure financial profitability for the company and bring value to our clients.

Experience / Skills

Job Responsibilities:
-Actively participate in creative ideation, collaborating with the Experiential Designer / Creative Director and Executive Producer when necessary.
-Source and Contract vendors and suppliers
-Develop project budgets and ability to negotiate pricing with vendors, knowledge of industry standards prices.
-Develop project plans, production schedules to meet client’s expectations.
-Conduct initial site inspections and test all equipment to ensure that the venue is adequate and the equipment functions up to standard.
-Lead event load-in and load-out to resolve potential technical errors and troubleshoot issues onsite.
-Oversee all production and technical aspects of events including directing production staff, testing equipment, and managing both BOH / FOH elements.
-Oversee and communicate with all vendors.

Qualifications:
-5+ years of proven event production experience required
-Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead teams
-1-2 years of management or supervisory experience
-Experience in the entertainment industry
-Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
-Leadership and coaching skills
-Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, online platforms such as Google Suite, Base Camp
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Extraordinary organizational skills, self-motivation and intuition
-Thrive in a fast paced environment
-Excellent computer proficiency with Microsoft, Google and Apple applications (especially Excel)
-Thorough understanding of permitting standards (Including but not limited to TPA, Special Event, Fire, Health & Safety, Building & Safety, Noise, etc.)
-Ability to successfully manage production timelines and needs as related to permit procurement
-Bilingual abilities preferred
