Manager, Media Logging & Archive Metadata
This position will manage all aspects of the PGA TOUR’s Media Asset Management logging team. This includes the logging staff, media archive metadata, logging workflows and current and new projects related to the archive’s metadata.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Media Logging team. This includes:
assigning daily logging tasks
working with various departments across the PGA TOUR to leverage the archive’s metadata
scheduling
training as needed for logging team
other tasks as they arise
lead weekly logging meeting with team
Manage all aspects of logging applications and logging workflows
Ensure the accuracy and quality of metadata in archive by performing routine checks of incoming media’s metadata as well as working on projects to clean up and enhance historical metadata
Maintain and develop logging procedures and training documentation
Work on projects related to AI generated metadata to log and/or enhance current logging workflows
Log incoming footage as needed
Develop and encourage staff to pursue new tasks and challenges related to overall departmental goals and objectives
May be required to work a flexible schedule on occasion including evenings, weekends and holidays
Special projects or other duties as assigned
Experience / Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Broadcast, Production, Journalism, Communications, or related experience required
Minimum 5 years of experience in Digital or Broadcast Media required
Experience working with video and audio metadata in a MAM or DAM environment
Strong leadership and management skills
Demonstrates proficiency in all technical concepts related to media logging
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask on various projects at the same time
Golf knowledge/background a plus
