This role will work within the award-winning Fighting Irish Media (FIM) Department, and will support the execution for all live production and creation across the entire Notre Dame Athletics department, with a primary focus on videoboard production, and creative content. This role will tell compelling visual stories (from a live production standpoint) of our varsity teams, coaches, and student-athletes. This role will also be focused on maintaining a great fan experience for those attending Notre Dame athletics events.

This role must have a strong knowledge and understanding of all technical aspects of live event productions. Additionally, this role must have strong internal communication skills, incredible organized, and innovative in the live production space - all while being a great teammate to the entire Athletics Department staff. This position will engage in in-venue & fan experience trends and bring findings back to FIM, with the hope of enhancing the successes of Notre Dame athletics, from an external perspective.

When videoboard productions have commenced for the year, this position will assist the Director of Creative Production in covering Olympic sports from a creative content perspective.

-This role will be responsible for executing videoboard & assisting live event broadcasts for our Varsity sports including but not limited to Football, Basketball, Hockey & other Olympic sports as assigned by the Asst. AD of Live Events
-This role will assist the Director of Creative Production with Olympic Sport coverage when through with videoboard assignments
-Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
• 1 to 2 years experience in production related field
• Understanding of and compliance with NCAA, ACC, and ND rules and regulations is imperative
• Experience in control room positions and setup including but not limited to Technical Directing, Producing, Directing, Graphics & Replay
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud design applications (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects)

• Production Reel/Portfolio Optional
