Qualifications/Requirements
- Consistent experience overseeing production budgets in excess of $100k
- Knowledge of technical aspects of video production, including gear and post production workflows including show deliverables and field production
- Serve as production logistics lead for assigned branded video shoots
- Schedule production kickoffs and creative check-ins with internal team to help clarify roles, project scope & budget
- Create production schedules for all assigned campaigns and manage creative tasks and internal deliverables with creative leads
- Identify budget parameters and monitor campaign spending, ensuring that we do not exceed the production budget
- Works closely with creative producers & DP to determine crew, location and gear needs for every shoot
- Handle outreach, negotiations, contracting, and correspondence with production partners, clearly communicating scope of work throughout the program (production companies, photographers, videographers, talent, location, equipment, hair/makeup, styling, catering, transportation)
- Draft and finalize contracts/releases with oversight from legal team and file fully executed paperwork in production server
- Route third party invoices and W9s to Accounts Payable for processing & record actualized costs in master budget tracker
- Acts as production manager on set for all planned productions
- Oversee production coordinator on a project-to-project basis
- Recommend cost-effective strategies and production efficiencies
- Have a plethora of contacts within the industry as well as researching and recruiting new production & executional partners (photographers, stylists, studios, talent, creative agencies, production companies)
- Responsible for the management and supervision of approximately 30-40 productions produced by CallistoStudios for digital, linear, AVOD and SVOD platforms.
- Review budgets and schedules, process and track project payments, review cost reports and oversee deliverables management.
- Collaborate with Development and Production Executives and their teams to achieve the highest production value and editorial quality while ensuring productions are delivering on budget and on schedule.
- Ensure linear, AVOD and SVOD platforms production and technical requirements are met and manage plus troubleshoot production issues as they arise including risk management, background checks, insurance, rights and release issues, compliance etc.
- Ensure that productions are delivered in accordance with respective platform delivery specs.
- Liaise with Finance on all financial related aspects of projects, including cash flows, pay schedule, production company on-boarding.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key production vendors to create cost and workflow efficiencies that could benefit productions on all platforms.
- Develop beneficial relationships in the production marketplace.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be willing to work in New York, NY and Oakland, CA with occasional travel domestic travel
- 8+ years of production experience, including 5+ years of production management experience successfully working with dynamic, cross-functional teams in a digital media and creative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong management and leadership qualities
- Dedication to accuracy, detail, and organization
- Strong sense of prioritization and ability to self-start
- Ability to remain calm, friendly, and solution-oriented under pressure
- Existing relationships with production partners and crew in key markets
- Familiarity with production templates, Google Drive, Microsoft Suite, & Keynote, and project management software like Monday.com
- Experience in branded content production strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Must be proficient with MS software applications and adapt quickly to learning new technology, software and systems for internal company use.
- A self-starter with the ability to prioritize among multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong knowledge of production logistics and workflow, industry technology, rights issues, and current industry standard practices.
- Experience in overseeing and creating budgets and schedules.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment with tight deadlines.
