Hartford Technology Rental Co rents a wide range of IT and Pro AV equipment for short-term projects and events. We are currently seeking a AV Operations Lead for both our Beltsville, MD and Queens, NY offices. Benefits include: competitive salary, medical, dental and paid vacation.

JOB SUMMARY: In this role you will check, maintain and prepare audio visual equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Check in and out equipment and packages
• Diagnose, log, and repair items that do not pass QC
• Assemble and configure equipment racks for client delivery
• Manage firmware versions for applicable devices
• Organize and store tested equipment
• Ensure equipment is presentable and in ideal working condition before going to clients
• Ability to handle hard deadlines and plan workflow depending on client needs
• Assists other departments when necessary
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety
• Assist in creating and following QC processes
• Work some weekend and after-hours as needed
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Experience / Skills


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a GED
• At least 3 years’ experience working with audio, broadcast and video equipment
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to lift sixty pounds
• Strong work ethic
• Proficient with MS-Office suite
