IIL Media, a division of International Institute for Learning, Inc., based in New York City, is a full-service video production facility serving primarily domestic and international corporate clients. Our productions cover various formats and styles, including training, educational, interactive, commercial advertising, and marketing.  We are seeking a Freelance Associate Producer to work with our production team on various video productions, both in studio and on location.                

Beyond job experience, we appreciate life experiences because they are unique to you and how you see and approach work. Working with IIL Media, everyone's contribution is essential to the creation of the whole. Everyone contributes through each phase, Pre-Production, Production, and Post.   

Free-lance positions are temporary assignments that do not include benefits. Candidates must currently be eligible to work in the United States and provide proof, i.e., social security card, authorized INS Working card, or Green Card. Candidates must provide at least two work-related references. 

If hired, team members must be willing to work at the IIL Media Production facility located at 485 Madison Avenue, New York City.   We believe team members who appreciate the benefits of the working environment and building relationships with co-workers.  Previous production experience is A +, but the more critical are qualities many of us left behind in childhood, imagination and curiosity, the foundations for innovation.  

The pay rate for the position of Associate Producer is $35.00 - $40.00 per hour (no benefits) 

Assignment starting date for this position is Immediately – June 9th, 2023

Experience / Skills

AP responsibilities include the following but are not exclusive:
- Research and development on potential documentary stories for POV series.
- Producing in studio productions,
- Supervising crews
- Scripting
- Developing edit plans, and
- Supervising post-production edit sessions
- Managing project budgets
- Working with Producers and crews on studio and location shoots
