POSITION SUMMARY
The Zion Anywhere (ZA) Audio-Visual Technician assists with each aspect of live and recorded broadcasts originating from the 'virtual' campus of Zion Church. This involves the setup and operation of production equipment for the Campus’s live, hybrid, and virtual events. The Video Editor will also be responsible for reviewing audio or visual footage and using computer software to organize and edit the clips into a broadcast-quality, cohesive unit. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
*Sets up and operates production equipment for live and recorded events. This includes but not limited to stationary and robotic cameras, ProPresenter, along with the required production elements are required for completing each shoot.
*Must have the skills for setting up quality camera angles and shot compositions.
*Meets on a regular basis with the ZA Production Coordinator to establish the direction and desired outcome for the videos to be created.
*Cuts and assembles recorded visual and audio footage by creating titles and motion graphics, digitally improve picture quality, and ensure videos meet the Zion Production brand guidelines.
*Perform color corrections as needed to produce the quality of video required for broadcast viewing.
*Creates rough and final cuts for weekly shows while producing promotional content for the Sunday Experience.
*Reviews bulk footage to determine what needs to be altered or removed for the final cuts.
*Assists with live production editing as requested.
*Attends weekly production planning meetings, debriefs, and call meetings.
Experience / Skills
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
*Two to five years of hands-on experience in Video Production and camera operation.
*Knowledge of video production procedures, practices, and terminology.
*Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or FinalCut Pro video editing software.
*Familiarity with online broadcast streaming platforms such as YouTube, Church Online Platform (CHOP), and Facebook.
*Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and render it operational for capturing/recording and live productions.
*Must be flexible and adaptable to scheduling and production demands, needs, and changes which may include working remotely or at any of Zion's physical campuses.
*The physical ability to lift equipment up to 25 pounds, along with being on your feet for an extended period.

Work-site will be primarily in the Woodbridge/Prince William County VA campus location; however, there may be instances where the team member will have to travel to any of Zion’s physical campuses or production studio located in Greenbelt MD, Fort Washington, MD or Landover, MD.
