Responsibilities:

● Planning and coordinating all aspects of production including budgeting, site surveying, scheduling and hiring freelance crew members if necessary

● Communicating with on-air talent, producers, directors and other members of the production team to ensure all aspects of production are on track and everyone is working together effectively

● Managing the day-to-day operations of the remote productions including overseeing rehearsals, set design, lighting and sound

● Ensuring the productions are produced with the highest production quality within the allocated budget and all expenses are accounted for

● Ensuring that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and all production equipment is properly maintained

● Coordinate with marketing and publicity teams to ensure the program is effectively promoted to audiences

● Ensuring that all legal and company requirements are met and the program is produced in compliance with CBS Sports standards and within compliance with all relevant regulations

● Keeping up to date with the latest developments and advancements in television technology and techniques

Experience / Skills

The ideal candidate will have excellent organization and communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. They must have a comprehensive understanding of television production and be able to work effectively with a range of different people and experience levels including anchors and producers as well as technical crew members and executives.


A bachelor’s degree in television production, film studies or a related field (or equivalent experience) will be required along with at least 7 years of experience with 2+ years of leadership experience
