FAST TRACK TO NATIONAL PRODUCER
Do you want to write life-changing stories? Do you have what it takes to become a producer one day and travel the country for these stories? No weekends, nights, or holidays? Do you want your stories aired on 100 TV stations across the country (KABC, KXAS, WDIV plus more) with the potential to be seen by 30 million viewers? Ivanhoe is looking for the right people to join our news team to learn to produce stories that impact millions.
Ivanhoe Broadcast News is a nationally syndicated television news service. We cover medical breakthroughs, family health news and news of interest to women. If you thrive on a fast-paced, deadline-oriented business and putting an element of “wow” into every story, you’re the one we’re looking for. Candidates must have outstanding writing and organizational skills. Being able to tell a great story through video is paramount to this job.
We have two types of positions:
1. News Assistant—Four year College degree required, no broadcast experience required.
2. Assistant Producer—The AP will be responsible for supporting a news team in-house, as well as a group of field producers nationwide. You will learn to produce exciting stories of your own with leading experts around the country. Only apply if you have a journalism degree and at least one year experience in local news (TV, radio or print).
Both positions are full-time and include 50% of the cost of health insurance and 6% match for your 401K plan when eligible. You must be willing to move to Orlando by January 2, 2024.
