The Assistant Director of Advanced Media – Content Creation is responsible for creating engaging and captivating content for various platforms, including but not limited to, Atlantic10.com, A-10 social media channels, and A-10 ESPN+ broadcasts. The position reports to the Director of Advanced Media and Technology.

Specific Responsibilities:

Video Content Production:

Shoot, edit, and produce high-quality original content to be utilized across multiple digital, broadcast, and in-venue platforms.
Serve as a lead videographer at selected regular season contests, conference championships, and other conference events.
Provide support to the distribution of selected game shoots and events to A-10 media partners, local and national media outlets.
Assist in the scheduling and production services of the A-10 studio/control room.
Assist in the development of conference-wide video footage exchange platform.
Advance the A-10 brand identity through video content utilizing technical and creative knowledge.
Create content for the Atlantic 10 Conference's official social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Collaborate with the external team to conceptualize, create, distribute cutting edge content, and contribute to A-10 content calendar.
Monitor trends in digital and broadcast technology.

Experience / Skills

Bachelor's Degree required with 3-5 years of experience in video production included. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The start date of employment is January 2024, with the A-10 office location in Washington, DC.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in video shooting, editing, and production software (e.g., Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects). AVID editing experience a plus.
Strong understanding of social media platforms.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
Coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently and effectively.
Comply with all A-10 and NCAA rules, regulations, and policies.
Required to attend games/events and work extended hours, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
Familiarity with college sports, higher education, and the Atlantic 10 Conference a plus.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The Atlantic 10 Conference was founded in 1975 and consists of 15 diverse members across nine states and
Washington, D.C. The conference office operates out of Washington, D.C. The mission of the Atlantic 10 is to
provide an enhanced student-athlete experience through 22 nationally competitive championship sports.
The basketball-centric conference is committed to integrity, educational excellence and providing quality
equitable championship experiences for its student-athletes, coaches, and support staff. The membership
consists of Davidson College, the University of Dayton, Duquesne, University, Fordham University, George
Mason University, The George Washington University, La Salle University, Loyola University Chicago, the
University of Massachusetts, the University of Rhode Island, University of Richmond, St. Bonaventure
