The Aspen Group (TAG) is seeking a Senior Video Editor with exceptional creative and technical skills to produce engaging video content for various platforms across all of our brands. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to edit quickly and adapt content for different formats, including social media, while maintaining high production standards.

**This is a contracted role 25-40 hours per week with opportunity to move full-time

Experience / Skills

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing
- Edit high-quality video content for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes across multiple
channels, including digital, broadcast, and social media.
- Ensure logical sequencing, pacing, input music, balance audio, color correct, develop graphics and effects, insert subtitles, etc.
- Ensure seamless transitions and overall flow that aligns with the creative vision.

Content Adaptation:
- Repurpose video content into various formats and aspect ratios, such as vertical (9:16), square (1:1), and widescreen (16:9), tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Optimize videos for different audiences and platforms, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.

Creative Collaboration:
- Work closely with creative teams, including production team, scriptwriters, producers, and graphic designers, to develop and execute compelling video projects.
- Contribute creative input during pre-production meetings and post-production reviews.


Quick Turnaround:
- Efficiently manage tight deadlines and high-volume editing requests without compromising quality.
- Prioritize and balance multiple projects, maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Technical Proficiency:
- Utilize industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Manage color grading, audio balancing, and other post-production processes to enhance video quality.

Asset Management:
- Organize and maintain video assets, ensuring files are properly tagged and stored for future use.
- Collaborate with the Digital Asset Management (DAM) team to streamline workflows and improve accessibility of video content.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
Experience editing for social media platforms and knowledge of platform-specific best practices.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with motion graphics and animation.
Familiarity with 4K video and RAW workflows.
Knowledge of video compression and optimization techniques for web and social media.
Background in healthcare, retail, or related industries.


Hourly Pay Range: $40-52
