The Partner Integration and Operations Manager (Sports) serves as both an internal-facing and partner-facing role working closely with traditional and digital content partners to ensure content reaches across Verizon’s video platforms. The Manager works in close collaboration with Verizon’s Content Acquisition team, Oath Editorial and Operations teams on key areas such as partner communication on technical initiatives, onboarding, new content launches or enhancements and process optimization across multiple traditional and digital MVPD partners. The core focus of the role is on the quality of the consumer experience, the strength of the content partnerships and the optimization of the means and methods of distribution to support the growth of Verizon’s video business.

-Establish and maintain regular communication with internal and external/content partners to review operational concerns and/or enhancements that can impact or drive the business.
-Establish and maintain regular communication with internal media technology teams to review day-to-day operations concerns.
-Monitor technology and process changes across all partners in order to execute key initiatives that impact the distribution business as a whole.
-Liaise with Acquisition, Product and Operations team, internal media technology teams and external partners.
-Explore product enhancements with content partners that will drive consumer engagement and retention across all video platforms.
-Manage the operations and partner integration team to foster growth and maintain engagement and a sense of shared mission.

Experience / Skills

You’ll need to have:

-Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field or four or more years of work experience.
-Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

-A degree.
-Six or more years of relevant experience in the media and entertainment industry.
-Firm grasp of the digital media business environment including digital distribution technology.
-Working knowledge of current video compression codecs and post production workflows.
-Demonstrated ability to quickly evolve and adapt to changes.
-Strong knowledge of the latest consumer electronic hardware/devices.
-Strong analytical and communication skills.
-Ability to multi-task and manage time.
-Proven ability to lead projects and set expectations with internal teams and external partners.
