The University of Wisconsin Athletic Department is looking for a Live Production Coordinator to create content and manage live event productions for our video board productions. This position will be responsible for the following:

-Oversee the live production for video board events.
-Communicate with other departments and coordinate the execution of show scripts.
-Produce entertaining and engaging video board broadcasts; ensuring a positive fan experience.
-Research and develop creative content ideas for use in video board productions.
-Manage the programming of LED signs and organization of files on a shared network.
-Coordinate with staff to make sure equipment is setup and operational.
-Manage maintenance and organization of control room equipment.

-Provide video related technical support to students and staff.
-Train and guide students, and staff on use of video equipment and software.
-Teach staff various broadcasting procedures and provide direction and feedback.
-Act as a resource for staff on questions/concerns.

Experience / Skills


-Extensive sports knowledge.
-Experience with Daktronics or similar LED software and equipment, preferably in a Division I or professional sports environment.
-Extensive knowledge of audiovisual methods, mediums and techniques used for live video production.
-Knowledge of control room system components such as routers, video playback and graphics machines.
-Proven artistic skills and creativity.
-Knowledge of Adobe software to create videos and graphics.
-Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to accomplish projects under tight time constraints.
-Must be knowledgeable of rules and regulations of the Big Ten, NCAA, WCHA, and Division of Intercollegiate Athletics and how these apply to Video Services.
-Ability to sit at a terminal and operate a computer for long periods of times, possibly several times a day.
-Effective oral and written communication skills.
