SEL’s in-house creative team seeks an experienced video producer to help tell our brand stories. This position requires someone who specializes in shooting, and can find new, interesting ways of looking at and documenting a highly technical industry. This position is part of a team consisting of video producers, motion designers, 3d animators, and photographers.

Our projects range from telling our own stories – brand, product, etc., to telling stories about our customers around the world, and how they’re using our products in interesting ways. Our productions often employ a short-form documentary format, so experience shooting documentary-style, unscripted content is necessary. In addition to shooting, the ideal candidate needs experience with capturing high quality audio, as well as setting up lighting for interviews and product shoots.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Plan and execute video projects for use in SEL marketing campaigns.
-Operate video and audio recording equipment, in the studio, and in the field.
Set up lighting equipment for on-camera interviews.
-Edit recorded media, including assembly, story cut, audio pass and color grade.
-Plan, coordinate, create and update marketing materials, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
-Collaborate with SEL Creative Marketing team members to implement story ideas.
-Stay up to date with new technology, techniques, and video production trends.
-Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
-Understand. Create. Simplify.
-Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Filmmaking, Video Production, Journalism or other related area or equivalent work experience.
-7+ years expert-level video production experience (preferably in ad agency or in-house creative department)
-Expertise with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut.
-Expert-level knowledge of video lighting.
-Experience with 4k video cameras, as well as mirrorless.
-Ability to communicate concepts and ideas.
-Ability to conduct interviews for narrative, short-form documentary style production.
-Expertise with Microsoft Office.
-Experience working on multiple projects with competing resources and deadlines.
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.
-Self-motivated and able to work on projects independently as well as with a team.
-Strong writing, documentation, speaking, and presentation skills.
-Skilled at offering and receiving thoughtful criticism and feedback.
-Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
-Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
-Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
-Negative drug test result(s).

Preferred Qualifications
-Experience with gimbal stabilizers and drones
