The Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer II is responsible for providing engineering support for network connectivity, Operating Systems / server and application issues, and review application / server logs to diagnose, determine and solve problems. This position serves as a liaison to the Data Center Technology Group (DTG) and developers for supported systems. The NOC Engineer II is responsible for solving and preventing application, data and circuit outages, and communicating with the help desk and other departments to provide issue resolution in a prompt manner.


-Proactively monitor the health of all systems with a focus on critical systems
-Provide second level support to NOC Technicians for network connectivity, system and application problems
-Document work done in Help Desk tickets which are used to communicate problems to affected parties
-Responsible for configuring and supporting Data Syndication feeds
-Responsible for installing, configuring and troubleshooting ShotLink in the Cloud
-Manage and deploy standardized platforms
-Adherence to operational procedures and together with NOC manager responsible for improvements in NOC procedures
-Assist DTG group with projects and tickets
-Project management task as assigned
-Responsible for all high-speed data circuits
-Act as point of interface with third parties
-Assist in Disaster Recovery

Experience / Skills


-Bachelor’s degree in Network Administration, Computer Science, System Engineering or a similar field, or equivalent job experience
-Minimum five years’ Information Systems experience
-Minimum five years’ Windows and Linux server administration experience; strong knowledge in scripting in PowerShell and bash; working experience with network administration and protocols; additional industry certifications strongly preferred
-Strong interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and issues escalated by NOC technicians; must work effectively both in a team environment and alone
