-Responsible for leading the production department on concepting and the development of video content for in ballpark, on-line, social media, long form programming and commercial production needs
-Works hand in hand with the Director of Game Presentation to create in-game features for video/LED and ribbon boards while integrating corporate sponsors
-Leads the team on creating commercials and various other presentations, all while amplifying the Padres brand
-Create hype videos for in game entertainment as well as sales and training videos for various departments
-A working Director, with the ability to produce and edit for video displays in-park, commercial production campaigns, in-game feature videos and special video projects, using Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects and Photoshop
-Travels to spring training to write and oversee spring training content production that will be used during the season for segments and in-game features.
-Responsible for the video creative for ballpark, social videos and integration with broadcast
-Responsible for the development, growth and guidance of the video production team
-Responsible for execution of all game related materials, including videos, graphics, LED ribbon boards, animations, etc. supplied by the production team and third-party vendors
-Oversee and manage all equipment necessary for operation of the production department, including cameras, editing systems, software plug-ins, music library and work distribution via the “Workfront” system

Experience / Skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must meet the following minimum requirements:

-Minimum of a 4-year bachelor’s degree or educational equivalent in Communications, Sports Management, Business, or other closely related field. MS or MBA a plus
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role in media television and/or video production. Baseball and sports experience strongly preferred
-Technical skills for supervision of staff in video editing, graphic animation and other frequently used skills. Proficient to advanced computer skills Adobe Creative Suite; Adobe Premiere for editing Intermediate knowledge of Photoshop and AfterEffects
-Strong personnel management, communication, time management and organizational skills. Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines
-Possess good working knowledge regarding the game of baseball, the Padres organization, its personnel and history
-Excellent written and verbal skills
-Portrays a professional image and demeanor
Strong ability to work well with co-workers, other departments and senior management within a team environment
Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience in PageMaker, In Design and PowerPoint a plus
Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability
-Consistent, punctual and regular attendance
-Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
-Able to travel as needed
-Minimum physical requirements: able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the ballpark for prolonged periods of time during games; able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
