This role requires a broad knowledge of the podcast and media production industry, an understanding of the technical components of digital media production and distribution and monetization technologies.

As one of the first points of contact for prospective clients, your ability to become a trusted partner on industry best practices, while demonstrating a deep understanding of how to leverage our solutions to maximize value gain — will be critical to your success in this role. Key objectives include the following:

Lead the Media/Podcast Production teams to ensure optimum performance

Responsible for P&L for the Media/Podcast Production product line

Drives sales and marketing initiatives to exceed revenue targets

Identify and target companies within specific industries both in the public and private sectors

Responsible for client engagement and growth

Lead the RFI/RFP process to drive sales

Leverage multiple sales enablement tools to manage the sales and marketing process

Track and report on weekly activity, key accounts, and closed business in CRM (HubSpot)

Drive operational efficiency by automation and streamlining processes.

Partner with the Producers and Directors to ensure project deliverables meets or exceeds clients’ expectations

Experience / Skills


7+ years of professional experience in a similar role

3+ years of business development experience, preferably selling technological solutions; content management tools or advertising/media technologies

5+ experience in a leadership role leading multiple teams

Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational as well as presentation skills

Knowledge of on-demand media/podcast distribution in general, as well as advertising, payment, analytics, and other technologies that power the media and podcast industry

Proven sales foundation built through sales training and practical experience

Experience working with or qualifying enterprise clients preferred

CRM experience (preferably Hubspot)
