My First Job In Film (MFJF) was formed in 2011 in the UK to support new filmmakers. The program provides a holistic approach, supporting junior filmmakers launch their film careers through a combination of vetted job opportunities, personal career advice, mentoring and events.

Now launching in North America, MFJF is looking to hire an experienced feature film production professional to manage and grow their production crew career services.


The Role:

This role involves liaising with productions who are crewing up, growing a network of experienced professionals to provide mentoring and career advice and ensuring the latest advice and information is provided to its members.


This role will suit:

An experienced feature Production Coordinator, PM, LP or AD. Someone with a wealth of experience and a network of contacts to match. You must have a passion to help the next generation of filmmakers through mentoring and career advice.


You will be expected to:

Grow a network of production crew contacts across all departments
Provide career advice and mentoring to new filmmakers
Be comfortable on social media and computer savvy


Remuneration:

Up to $100,000pa, DOE, with benefits
Ideally full time but open to part time for the right candidate


Location:

The main office will be located in NYC however, we are happy to accept WFH/LA applicants for the right candidate.
