THE ROLE
The Head of Production is responsible for leadership and administration of CLICKON’s production teams. They are responsible for leading all aspects of production, including working with CLICKON producers, identifying production crews, timing, budget and sourcing of deliverables across a variety of accounts. It is imperative that this individual has a great understanding of the creative deliverables across a multitude of mediums. The ideal Head of Production will be someone that can bring creative visions to life while elevating the work through close collaboration with the creative team. Not only should this person have extensive production contacts, but they should be someone that grows relationships with outside production partners, while ensuring production processes are in place and are having a positive impact on the work. As an office lead for production, the person will also be responsible for maintaining regular communication and meetings that include producers and business affairs managers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Manage the smooth delivery and integration of production
Drive and oversee multiple, concurrent productions; monitor progress; ensure our content is consistent with our brand, is exciting and innovative.
Collaborate with Producers and other departments’ team leads to define and develop project and business strategy.
Work closely with our internal creative, digital teams and content producers to ensure projects meet or exceed our creative goals and business metrics.
Establish production budgets, schedules, workflows; optimize budgets.
Implement best practices from pre-production through delivery (e.g. new technology and processes).
Research and identify new business opportunities; generate ideas to add to the slate of projects.
Identify and solve internal operational and process issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and local, regional and federal regulations.
Build and approve the department’s freelance hiring plan.
Create a working environment that recognizes the importance of creative excellence, clarity of roles and responsibilities, accountability and meaningful staff development.

Experience / Skills

Demonstrated, extensive creative experience working with medium to high budget projects at a studio, production company, or network; experience with the rapid growth phase at a company a plus.
Comprehensive understanding digital production processes.
At least 7 years’ experience at an agency or production house in a managerial or executive role, managing production teams and budgets with a track record for meeting deadlines and completing projects within budget.
Team-player and leader who drives innovation and encourages collaborative relationships.
Proactive, flexible, able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment supervising several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong relationship building skills.
Flexibility to travel and work anywhere in the US as needed.
