The purpose of the Creative Post Production Director is to think creatively and help execute in all PullSpark videos. The PullSpark Creative Post Production Director is a key player on the team, and responsible for elevating the creative space when it comes to all videos and client needs. With a commitment to excellence for every client, the Creative Post Production Director will continually work to elevate her/his skills to best enhance the creative in all PullSpark’s videos. The Pullspark Creative Post Production Director must be highly imaginative and an effective manager of talent. They have to balance the concerns and needs of many people: the owners of PullSpark, our clients, the Account Directors who work directly with clients, and the people who work under them.

Role Description:
To master himself or herself in the art of storytelling using the PullSpark methodology.

Creative Concepting / Editing
Collaborate with Creative Directors on concepting ideas
Create concepts/storyboards for Creative Producers and pitch ideas to clients
Translate event and film objectives from clients into clear creative strategies
Edit with precision, organized timelines
Proficient in editing to music on the exact beat, ability to edit two scores together and understand the key of the music
The ability to “think for themselves” in creative problem solving
Brings creative editing techniques to edits and the team
Forsees issues, opportunities in upcoming projects
Light audio mastering skills
Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling event and film experiences for visually sophisticated audiences
Ensure all projects are on track creatively and on turned in on time according to edit schedule
Creative Development/Edit Videos per the PullSpark Storytelling Methodology

Post Production Management
Provide technical feedback to entire post team
Ensure post production team is managing servers, footage, hard drives and other materials
Develop and grow team members so they are continuing to push their skills, creativity and productivity
Provide feedback on edits to the post production team

Event / Film Work
Attend Video Shoots and Events

Direct Reports:
TBD / Potentially leading editing team

Required Experience, Education, Demonstrated Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) required
5-6 years of agency experience or like experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively collaborate with different people and work styles
Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Resolve Color Grading is a plus
