This is a full-time position 9 of 12 months within the operations department in a live studio production environment. The role is for an experienced audio engineer to live mix our studio pre- and post-game productions and live game productions.


Responsible for planning, set up and mixing audio for live studio shows and game productions
Responsible for daily pre-production on assigned shows and the setup of the necessary audio room, remote audio and studio equipment
Programming and operating RTS intercom systems
Knowledge of wireless microphone/ IFB selection, distribution and functionality for studio host and analysts/guests
Familiarity with a Dante audio network including setup and proper troubleshooting techniques
Ability to troubleshoot and correct audio related issues or problems
Act as A1/A2 on ENG shoots and/or remote productions
Support the remote production crew with any necessary audio music selections
Keep music library organized and up to date; Ingest new material as needed; maintain logs as needed
Assigned standard to complex productions.
Position primarily works nights, weekends and holidays in support for Red Sox and Bruins

Experience / Skills


Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Communications or equivalent

2 - 4+ years of experience in audio production and ideally with 2+ years’ experience in a production environment
Thorough knowledge of audio-related television technology for studio production and nonlinear audio editing
Growing knowledge of audio production and post-production

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Able to work nights and weekends

Must have a high level of creativity, energy, and flexibility


Engineering Certifications and/or membership such as Society of Broadcast Engineers or AES

Dante Level II certification
