NewBlue’s Titler Live Broadcast Product Inaugurates Launch Of NewTek’s NDI Online Store For Software Developers
NewBlue, Inc. a leading provider of production-proven titling technology, video effects, and transitions, today announced the addition of Titler Live Broadcast to the NewTek NDI online e-store for software developers. Titler Live Broadcast provides an affordable, high-quality, 3D, animated on-air graphics solution to NewTek’s ecosystem of NDI™-enabled products. Through NewTek’s NDI integration, Titler Live Broadcast can stream graphics and text on up to 16 independent channels all from a single computer.
NewTek’s royalty free NDI technology allows video and audio sources to be shared bi-directionally across a network, eliminating the need for costly direct connections, expensive cable runs, and infrastructure upgrades while turning every source into a destination instantly available anywhere on the network.
“We’re excited to be the first, NDI-enabled developer solution in the NewTek NDI online store,” explains Todor Fay, CEO of NewBlue. “It will help us increase our reach and make it easy for broadcasters to add Titler Live Broadcast’s powerful text and graphics to their live stream.”
In a market where titling and graphics solutions come at a premium, NewBlue’s Titler Live Broadcast is a cost effective, yet powerful choice. The titling graphics engine powering Titler Live is built on NewBlue’s platform that also drives successful post production applications such as Titler Pro.
“Software-driven IP workflows are quickly becoming ubiquitous in video production,” said Michael Kornet, executive vice president of Business Development for NewTek. “We’re thrilled to welcome Titler Live Broadcast to the NewTek NDI developer e-store, making it easier for customers to access NDI-enabled applications in one central location. NDI-enabled devices like Titler Live Broadcast exponentially increase the video sources available for live production creating efficiencies and opportunities for customers that did not previously exist. NDI is the most widely adopted IP technology on the market, epitomized by the millions of customers with access to it today.”
NewBlue will also support additional features in NDI version 2 when the updated software development kit (SDK) becomes available in Q4 2016. The NDI SDK is royalty free for any company looking to establish IP workflows within their organization, or in commercial products and applications they deliver. Building on the widely adopted and ground-breaking Network Device Interface announced at IBC 2015, NewTek’s NDI version 2 adds higher performance, resolution independence, 16-bit per channel support for the highest precision color of any IP standard, 16 channels of floating point audio, improved cross subnet support, integrated fail-over support, network-based re-routing support, and more.
