From the Republic of Korea comes "Give Them – Secret of the Lost," directed by Kyoungyong Kim. This film presents a fantastical narrative where an elderly man's death is merely the beginning of his journey. As he miraculously returns to life, he begins to reverse in age, losing memories along the way. The film promises to be a poignant exploration of life, memory, and the inexorable passage of time, all wrapped in a mystery that speaks to the very essence of human existence.

Turkey's entry, "One Way," a L.A. premiere, directed by Cem Ertunc, is an action-packed drama that takes us on a thrilling ride through the streets of L.A. with Rüzgar, a pirate cab driver with a tumultuous past. The tension escalates when he encounters shady characters who threaten his safety, propelling him into a night of survival and self-discovery. This film is a gritty portrayal of resilience and the human spirit's capacity to endure against all odds.

"Erosion," from Japan, directed by TOOWA2, offers a unique premise where communication transcends spoken language. Set in a forest, this film delves into the primal and often forgotten ways humans can connect with one another and the natural world. It's a reminder of the power of sound and the deep roots of our ancestral heritage.

Lastly, the USA's "I Want To Live On Mars," directed by Mariya Somova, brings us a touching story of two young women united by the failings of their guardians. Their journey of friendship and self-discovery leads them to confront the vastness of their dreams and the reality of their desires.
