About Me

Bryan DiBlasi is currently majoring in filmmaking at Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. He has also been enrolled in film classes at New York Film Academy, the School of Visual Arts, Pratt Institute, and Vanity Studios, London. An aspiring director and writer, some of his own films have been selected to be screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner, the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, the Garden State Film Festival, and the Cape May Film Festival. In 2009, portions of his documentary Will the Bees Survive? discussing local beekeeping practices and colony collapse disorder were used for the PBS show “GreenQuest” and by French documentarians for their film, which premiered at Cannes the same year. Recently he was accepted and attended Werner Herzog’s Rogue Film School. He is currently planning a documentary partially based on his experience studying under Mr. Herzog.
