About Us

The Colorado Office of Film, Television & Media, better known as the Colorado Film Commission, was the first legislated state film commission formed in the U.S. Over the years we have evolved into the Colorado Office of Film, Television & Media to better reflect the wide range of projects that we work on daily. The Office of Film, Television & Media offers an experienced and resourceful staff who provide excellent resources for prospective producers, advertising agencies and production companies. The Office of Film, Television & Media is a state agency designed to help facilitate the growth of Film and television production in the state of Colorado. Our role is to market the state of Colorado as a location for film making, to assist production companies in finding locations, and to work with the local industry and Colorado communities to make this a strong, viable production state.

We have local community contacts in over 85 communities all across Colorado who can assist with locations, lodging, permitting and problem solving at the local level.

If you are looking for world class ski locations, snowy mountain roads, golden aspen trees, sand dunes, the wide open plains or small rural farm communities Colorado has it all.

We have been in the industry since 1969.
