About Me

I am former IATSE Local 600 Director of Photography out of New York City, with feature, documentary, commercial and music video credits, great patience, and a relaxed sense of humour blended with focused intensity on set. I teach film production, lighting, and cinematography at San Diego State University.

I joined IATSE in the 1980’s and worked my way up within the camera department to Director of Photography Local 600 (then Local 644). I no longer maintain an active membership in IA, so I am happy to work on non-union projects.
