About Me
John Wayne Bosley is a creative independent filmmaker with over 15 years experience in editing, writing, directing, camera work, and all aspects of filmmaking: from pre-production to post-production. Bosley is well-versed in After Effects, color correction, sound design, green screen, and currently utilizes Adobe Premiere Pro CC. He has a basic knowledge of graphic design, motion graphics, and 3D and has created his own musical scores and sound effects from scratch. As a writer/director/editor, Bosley has learned the importance of story-boarding and envisioning how a project should be carried out from start to finish. He also has experience with social media marketing campaigns, obtaining theater bookings and TV/newspaper coverage, and pitching films to distributors.
Bosley has 3 feature films, a handful of shorts, and some event filming under his belt and he also worked recently as a lead editor at one of the top outdoor production companies for almost five years. His most recent feature, "The Heart of a Dancer" just received distribution and he currently has another film project in pre-production with amazing reactions to the pitch trailer. Bosley lives in Michigan, but is willing to travel and has the equipment to work remotely.
