About Me

I have been involved in video production for many years, and got started as a teenager working for my father's company, Suttonplace Productions. I attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham where I received a degree in Music Technology and a minor in Documentary Film. I began making my own independent films during college; two of which (Ironing Board Confessions, and Hopheads) were official selections in The Sidewalk International Film Festival. I interned at Alabama Public Television where I worked on the Emmy Award winning series We Have Signal. After college I worked for Apple as a certified Final Cut Pro trainer. During my time at Apple, I continued to work for a diverse client base and subcontracted with several other production companies. At the beginning of 2012, I was contracted by Alabama Public Television to work on the public affairs show Capitol Journal, as well as Spotlight on Education and Stars in Education. After that I spent three years in Philadelphia, PA shooting and editing for a variety of production companies and working as a full-time video editor for The American College of Financial Services. Currently I work on personal narrative and documentary projects under the name Unicellular Productions and work as a Multimedia Specialist in Video at Asurion in Nashville, TN. My wife and I have four cats and I am really good at parallel parking. I also play the upright bass.

I have been in the industry since 2006.
