In May 2008, I began my formal education at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a major in Motion Pictures and Television emphasis in Directing.
During my time there, I took as many classes in as many different fields as possible to make sure that I understood every aspect of production. However, I was not going to let school stop me from beginning my career. In the Bay Area, I began working as a Production Assistant, 2nd AD and AD on many industrials and commercials. Honing my craft to make me a calm, level-headed leader who knows how to give suggestions to hurry things along as opposed to just yelling.
2012 was a big year for me as a short film I produced entitled "Prima" was accepted into the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. In May of 2012, I graduated from AAU with a B.F.A. in Motion Pictures and Television. September brought the release of the 14-part web series, which I wrote and directed, "The National". "The National" has garnered over 100,000 views and several accolades. October, I moved to Los Angeles for the work and have been working as a Production Assistant on web content for CollegeHumor, a Producer for BermanBraun and a freelance PA/2nd AD on several projects.
I am a hard worker who learns quickly and adapts to his situation. Nothing will leave me confused or angry. Instead of blowing up or saying "NO" on a set or in the office I will just say "I'll take care of it" and get the job done.
I have been in the industry since 2010.
