Audio Rents, Inc. is the largest and oldest pro audio equipment rental house in Hollywood, specializing in recording and post production equipment. The office is located on Wilcox and Sunset in an old film studio building that scored movies such as, Rocky and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Our clients range from record companies like Capitol and Geffen to film studios, like Universal, Fox and Sony, to major recording studios such as Record Plant, the Village and East West. We also rent to students in recording and film schools, home studios, prop masters, bands, DJ’s, hobbyists & sound enthusiasts.

We are a huge supplier of both vintage and modern audio gear ranging from classic RCA ribbon microphones and FAIRCHILD compressors, to cutting edge noise reduction machines by CEDAR, a full line of DOLBY surround encoder/decoders and PROTOOLS HD systems.

AUDIO RENTS carries many preamps, EQ's, FX boxes, and compressors, etc. by companies like MANLEY, GML, TC, LEXICON, JENSEN, CHANDLER, API, NEVE, GRACE, UREI, SSL and more.

Our collection of recording microphones is one of the largest assemblies of tube, ribbon, condenser and dynamic mics anywhere. From Neumann to AKG, from Royer to Shure, our selection is huge.

We also carry a great deal of live sound equipment, powered and unpowered speakers and stage monitors, sub woofers and DJ systems.
