Award-winning Cinematographer / DP with 20+ years experience shooting television, documentaries, and high-end commercial / corporate productions. Credits / Clients include agencies, brands, TV networks, & production companies from around the world - like ESPN, PBS, HBO Sports, National Geographic, PGA Tour Entertainment, Dateline NBC, PBS, CBS, BBC, Discovery, Curiosity Stream, Bleacher Report, People, Molson Coors, Gatorade, Old Spice, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Goldman Sachs, Under Armor, Microsoft, and many more.
With a deep background in film lighting and production, I approach every project - whether documentary or commercial - with a cinematic eye. My team and I are experts at lighting and shooting gorgeous interviews (single or multiple camera), blocking and lighting scenes with actors, and capturing compelling b-roll that help our clients tell great stories.
We can come fully-equipped with our own high-end camera package or can work with equipment provided by the production. We own a Sony PXW-FX9 Full-Frame Digital Cinema Camera Package, and a fantastic interview lighting kit. We also work with ARRI Alexa, Alexa Mini, Amira, and various RED camera systems. For larger projects, we can provide or recommend the best crew and equipment in town - including Sound Mixers, Camera Assistants, Gaffers, Grips, DITs, Makeup Artists, Teleprompter operators, PAs, grip trucks, expanded lighting packages, and more, etc.
Tom is the owner of Big Pictures Media, Inc. - a fully-insured production company providing award-winning production services since 1993 in Colorado and Florida - with hundreds of happy clients.
