SD, HD and 2K based solutions to developers, broadcasters and creative content
professionals, with an installed base of over 14,000 customers worldwide.

uncompressed video, developing unparalleled video quality in the industry. The quality
of the Bluefish444 products is attested to by some of the most influential industry

In 2003 Bluefish444 introduced Symmetry, our own proprietary Acquisition, Review and
Playout application to much acclaim. Symmetry is an integrated software solution for all
Bluefish444 capture cards and its feature set is constantly being updated. Symmetry’s
support of native 10 bit formats such as DPX, Cineon, Quicktime, AVI, Targa and its easy
integration into any 4:4:4 workflow have made it an indispensable tool for Graphics and
Digital Intermediate(DI) professionals.

Since 2003, the Bluefish444 2K|Lust has been the engine of choice for DI based solutions,
and together with Symmetry have featured as a central 4:4:4 ingest and play-out
solution in the workflow of some of the industry’s most recognised online finishing
systems.

In 2009, Bluefish444 continued to innovate with the release of our next generation
product line in the form of the exciting new Epoch & Create product families.
Introducing cutting edge features such as 3G-SDI, a 12 bit video processing pipeline, fully
programmable pristine image scaling capability, DVI/HDMI output with 3 x1D LUTs for
2K preview, dual link, multi channel I/O with full duplex uncompressed video up to 2K
and stereoscopic 3D capability. Symmetry has been updated for 3D I/O and standards
conversion to reflect the new functionality of Epoch and Create.
