I have over twenty years experience working in broadcast and corporate television as a studio and on location camera operator, video editor and live, multi-camera director/td for broadcasts, newscasts, webcasts, etc.
I’ve helped plan for everything from marathons and telethon broadcasts to tightly edited sales videos for the web, broadcast television and trade shows. If you need help in the planning stages, I'm a really good resource.
I produce original content from script to screen with well thought out images and great looking design that keeps the viewer interested in the content but not distracted from it. I use Premiere, Final Cut, Motion and After Effects and can edit video on location.
I worked for years at the Virginia State Capitol as a news camera op, video editor and director/td for WCVE, WVIR and other television news stations. I use these same skills today at press conferences, live events and webcasts.
I directed the consistently top rated, hour long newscast "12 News Today" newscast from 1996 to 2001 after directing WWBT's half-hour long program in 1995. The five person news team, traffic helicopter and nearly thirty various video sources was the perfect training ground for the broadcast and corporate directing I do today. I've directed Mid-Atlantic Ted Talks, programs at the Kennedy Center, countless corporate meetings, live events and webcasts. I can follow your script or simply follow the event as it happens.
I have been in the industry since 1991.
