The Universal Studios Florida Production Group (USFPG) provides sound stages (8,300 sf to 22,000 sf), hundreds of backlot locations, production offices, and support space (screening room, makeup/hair rooms, and green rooms) totaling over 395,000 sf. USFPG is a team of production professionals who provide production oversight and logistics’ management for all film, television, and commercial (print and video) production that takes place on Universal Orlando Resort properties.
USFPG can also provide production management services including acquisition of equipment, crew, budgeting and assist with payroll.
The sound stages have an innovative trolley beam system for flexibility in film, tape or live-audience productions. They are designed for all lighting power requirements, are equipped with newly installed state of the art silent air conditioning to allow for continuous shooting, and include a quick exhaust system for special effects. A canopy to protect against inclement weather covers the areas adjacent to the sound stages.
The facility is complemented by a network of production support via the Universal Orlando Resort, specializing in catering, art and design, custom greenery services, and much more. The sound stages are located in the heart of Orlando with close proximity to the Orlando International Airport, the East Coast beaches, and every environment imaginable can be found within five miles, except mountains.
