About Us

We are a full service video production company near Pittsburgh PA with over 30 years of experience in broadcast and corporate production.
We offer 4k, HD, HD XDCam, and P2 ENG camera crews, post productions services, and can provide additional crew for larger projects. Our primary camera is aSony FS7 with a set of prime lenses. In 2019 we purchased a CamMate 39' jib/crane with a motorized head and operator. Our audio package is built around a Sound Devices 664 mixer with a set of Lectrosonic wireless mics and a Sennheiser 416 shotgun mic.

We have a well equipped grip truck - a 3/4 ton GMC van - which INCLUDES a tungsten lighting package - available with either a grip or gaffer. Additional lighting equipment is available, including KinFlo, LEDs, and HMIs. We work in Pittsburgh PA as local.

Blackwater Video Productions is located near Pittsburgh PA, but within 3 hours of Cleveland, Columbus, Baltimore and Washington DC. We have also worked in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Sarasota, Daytona, and Orlando.

We have extensive experience in sports, reality TV, news, uplinks, VNRs, adventure sports, ENG and EFP crew, and documentary style shooting. Also available - teleprompter and operator.

We have been in the industry since 1989.
