2012 Miami International Auto Show
Miami International Auto Show display exhibit design drawings and 3D renderings by Joe Saitta. I prefer my display designs to be minimalist. I dislike clutter, as I believe it distracts from the purpose of a display, which is to showcase the product, first and foremost. These designs create a pleasing background, with plenty of open floor space. The simple backgrounds are easy to construct, keeping cost low, in order to afford the heavy duty platforms and ramps necessary to display the cars, in the fashion one expects from high-end Detroit auto shows. Topless In Miami has a 50 foot long "causeway", capturing the thrill of driving over open water, one of the coolest things to do with a convertible in Miami. I have provided for vinyl water pattern flooring, to enhance the ambiance around the vehicles. Once again, it is all about the cars. Large screen video displays help create the "Disney" effect of motion, in an otherwise static display.
