15 years of experience as Producer and Cinematographer. Andrew is an award winning producer who has successfully delivered 6 feature films including 40 Below & Falling 3D (2015) featuring Jewel Staite and Lumiere Award recipient from the Advance Imaging Society – past recipients include James Cameron and Martin Scorsese. Other films of note include Baby Blues (2008) which earned the highest per screen average in North American theatres opening weekend despite it’s modest budget of only $100K CAD.
Andrew has roots in the theatre and tech side of the film industry having been a lighting designer, stage manager, video projection designer, technical director, company manager, assistant recording engineer, he is also an accomplished and award winning director of photography.
Having always had an entrepreneurial spirit, he started his first company when he was 12 that’s still operational today. He has also founded a number of other successful ventures including FilmReel (web based management software for arts organizations) FAVATV (online TV network that has partnered with the Edmonton Folk Festival and the Edmonton Opera), Alberta Custom Concrete (Liquor Depot & University of Alberta), AC Media (digital signage solutions for Boston Pizza).
